We had a couple of earthquakes recently, so I did a quick check on the observatory yesterday to make sure that the pier hadn't been affected. The happy news is that it still shows as perfectly level!
Also, we just had our first big rain storm of the season, and thankfully it's still nice and dry inside the dome - so no leaks this year!
