Thank you for visiting and shopping at Bracken Observatory! Here are the terms and conditions that constitute our Shipping Policy.

Order Processing & Production Time

All orders for in-stock items (books, calendars, apparel, accessories) are processed within 2-3 business days from our Pleasant Hill observatory. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays.

Made-to-Order Items (Metal & Acrylic Prints)
Please note that our large wall display products are created on-demand just for you. These are custom-manufactured by our lab partners. Please allow 3-8 business days for production before shipping.

If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in the shipment of your order, we will contact you via email.

Domestic Shipping (United States)

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. We use real-time carrier-calculated rates (USPS, UPS, FedEx) to ensure you get the most accurate price available for domestic deliveries.

International Shipping & Customs

We are excited to offer international shipping to space enthusiasts around the world! To provide the best possible global shopping experience, we have partnered with Global-e to securely process and fulfill our international orders.

No Surprise Fees at Delivery (Delivered Duty Paid)
We ship to our international destinations on a DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) basis. This means that all applicable local taxes, VAT, GST, and customs duties are fully calculated and securely collected upfront during checkout.

  • The total you see at checkout is 100% guaranteed.
  • Your package will be delivered straight to your door.
  • You will never be asked to pay additional customs charges, carrier handling fees, or import taxes upon delivery.

International Shipping Rates & Carriers
Shipping charges for your international order will be calculated and displayed at checkout in your local currency. We offer a mix of flat-rate options and real-time calculated carrier rates (via trusted global carriers like DHL and FedEx) to ensure you have the flexibility to choose the delivery speed and price that works best for you.

Damages

If an item is damaged in shipment, or if an item shipped is other than what was described, you must contact us within ten (10) days of receipt to claim a refund at customercare@bracken-observatory.com.

For items damaged in shipment, shipped in error, or other than what was described, we will refund the customer all charges. However, we are not responsible for loss due to “porch pirates” or similar mail theft after confirmed delivery.
