At Bracken Observatory, we want to ensure your cosmic gifts arrive in time for the holidays. Because we offer a mix of inventory shipped directly from our observatory in Pleasant Hill and custom fine art shipped from our professional lab partners, deadlines vary by product type.

Please review the dates below carefully. Orders placed after these dates are not guaranteed to arrive by December 24th.

United States Orders (Lower 48)

Note on Custom Art: Our Acrylic and Metal prints are custom-crafted by a premier professional lab. High-quality astrophotography takes time to produce!

🌺 Alaska, Hawaii & Military Addresses (APO/FPO)

Shipping to non-continental US addresses requires extra transit time.

• Alaska & Hawaii: Please place your orders 5 days earlier than the dates listed above.
• Military (APO/FPO):
  • In-Stock Items: Order by December 6th (Sent via USPS Priority).
  • Wall Art (Metal/Acrylic): Due to production times and military mail delays, we cannot guarantee Christmas delivery for custom wall art ordered at this time.

🌍 International Orders (EU, AU, NZ, Canada, Taiwan)

We now ship to the European Union as well as Australia, New Zealand, Canada and Taiwan! Since international shipping involves customs processing, timelines are strict.

• Standard International Shipping: The recommended deadline for guaranteed delivery was November 25th.
• Ordering Now? Orders placed now generally arrive in January. While smaller items (Books/Apparel) sent via our new streamlined EU shipping often arrive faster, we can no longer guarantee December 24th delivery for international locations.

📦 A Note on Shipping

Once a package leaves Bracken Observatory or our print lab, it is in the hands of the carrier (USPS, UPS, or FedEx). Weather and volume delays are out of our control, so we always encourage ordering early to avoid stress!
